Tampilisan National High School officially launched the Tracking of Reading Comprehension in High School (TORCH) Program last June 5.
The said launching was in synchronization to the opening of classes for the School Year 2017-2018.
Meanwhile, the program aims to identify the students with difficulties in reading and comprehending the text read and supports the existing program of the ZN Division’s CARE & SHARE Reading Program.
The English and Filipino Departments of the said institution, headed by the Junior High School English and Filipino Coordinators and Senior High School Academic Coordinator Mercedes F. Bontigao, Delma L. Troyo and Glenda B. Pecore respectively, initiated the TORCH.
Moreover, the said teachers reported to school during the summer break to reproduce the reading modules to be used for the students’ assessment.
