there's a problem in attaching huge files, the maximum file size that can be attached is only 2048 kilobytes
it would be better if we can attach heavy files here to share our learning resources in every learning areas.

From reading the problem description i would bet that there is problem when saving the config file. Can you please start EG with -debug option and watch for errors when closing EG? see the log file.
