ZNAA 2025 Closing Ceremony Honors Champions as Cluster 3 Secures Overall Victory
The ZNAA Qualifying Meet 2025 officially concluded today, November 25, 2025 at the Piñan Municipal Gymnasium, marking the end of a vibrant, competitive, and inspiring showcase of athletic excellence across the participating clusters. The event brought together student-athletes, coaches, officials, and partners in a celebration of sportsmanship, discipline, and unity. The program closed with the announcement of Special Awards, recognizing not only athletic performance but also character, responsibility, and environmental stewardship. Cluster 4 earned the title Most Disciplined Delegation, Cluster 2 was awarded Cleanest Delegation, and Cluster 3 proudly received the Eco-Friendly Delegation award. The Saludo Awards honored outstanding organizations, with Cluster 5 as 2nd Runner-up, Cluster 3 as 1st Runner-up, and Cluster 4 earning the Champion title. Recognition followed for the Champions in Major Events, highlighting the students’ dedication across Paragames, Regular Sports, and Demo Sports. In the Paragames, Cluster 3 took 1st place with a strong performance, followed by Cluster 4 and Cluster 1. In Regular Sports, Cluster 3 again dominated the leaderboard, with Cluster 6 securing 2nd and Cluster 4 at 3rd place. Meanwhile, in Demo Sports, Cluster 4 emerged as Champion, showcasing exceptional execution and teamwork. The much-awaited announcement of the Overall Winners crowned Cluster 3 as the Overall Champion, topping all events with consistency and excellence. They were followed by Cluster 6 in 2nd place and Cluster 4 in 3rd place. Completing the overall ranking were Cluster 1 (4th), Cluster 5 (5th), and Cluster 2 (6th). Here are the municipalities and the corresponding clusters: Cluster 1: La Libertad, Mutia, Piñan, Polanco, Sergio Osmeña, Rizal, Sibutad Cluster 2: Katipunan, Roxas, Manukan Cluster 3: Jose Dalman, Sindangan, Siayan Cluster 4: Bacungan, Godod, Salug, Liloy Cluster 5: Labason, Gutalac, Kalawit, Tampilisan Cluster 6: Baliguian, Siocon, Sirawai, Sibuco The event also recognized its valued supporters through the Certificate of Appreciation, awarded to Zorayda Lending Services Corp., Real Credit Corporation, Manuel Resort, Katipunan Bank Incorporation, and GA Alano & Sons Credit Corporation. A Plaque of Gratitude was also presented to Dr. Glenda Gudmalin and Mayor Rommel Gudmalin for their unwavering support, leadership, and continuous commitment to youth development in sports. The program concluded with heartfelt Words of Gratitude from Dr. Glenda Gudmalin, PSDS, and Sir Ervin Acaylar, SGOD Chief, who both commended the athletes’ perseverance, the coaches’ dedication, and the collective efforts of the entire ZNAA community. Their messages highlighted the spirit of unity, resilience, and excellence that defined this year’s meet.
