ZNAA 2025 EMT Conducts Its First Operational Period Briefing

The Zamboanga del Norte Athletic Association (ZNAA) 2025 Qualifying Meet Event Management Team (EMT) successfully conducted its first Operational Period Briefing (OPB) on November 21, 2025, at the Incident Command Post located in Piñan Central School. The briefing set the operational tone for the upcoming provincial athletic event, ensuring that all functional areas are aligned and prepared for coordinated action. Leading the EMT is Incident Commander Leonido Pampilo Jr., who emphasized that the OPB serves as a critical tool for readiness, unity of direction, and safety. He underscored that the strength of any major event lies in a well-organized EMT capable of anticipating challenges and responding swiftly to emerging needs. The EMT is composed of the following command and general staff: PIO: Nicollette Ria Tangon Safety Officer: Richard Dadan Liaison Officer: Eunice Janolino Operations Section Chief: Neoriente Ferrer Planning Section Chief: Laisa Madel Cincheals Logistics Section Chief: Jun Leonard Romarate Finance/Admin Section Chief: Rovelyn Balahan Each section presented its initial preparations, plans, and resource requirements, ensuring clarity in roles and responsibilities. The OPB also highlighted safety protocols, communication flows, logistical support structures, and financial tracking mechanisms. ZNAA 2025 is proudly hosted by LGU Piñan, under the leadership of Mayor Rommel Gudmalin, and the Piñan District headed by PSDS Glenda Gudmalin. Their collaborative support provides a strong foundation for a secure and efficient athletic meet. As preparations advance, the EMT reiterates that its work is essential in guaranteeing a smooth, safe, and successful conduct of ZNAA 2025.
